There are wide cycling paths, a boat pond and a cafe in the Park.
The Ducks and Geese like being fed.
You can choose all sorts of bikes that are safe for you to use. Staff will help you select a bike.
You can go cycling by yourself or use a tandem(double) bike with a friend.
You can bring your own lunches to eat in the park.

The Staff have 20 years experience of renting bikes!
They will help you select a bike thats best for you and show you how to use it.

To find London Recumbents follow signs to the Dulwich picture gallery. The main gates are on College road.

Parking
There are 4 accessible parking spaces in the car park next to the Rangers office.
It can get busy in weekends. |

Bus
Nearest Mobility bus is the P4. The P4 runs between Lewisham DLR and Brixton underground station. |

Tube
Victoria line - Brixton underground station - not accessible for wheelchair users.
The underground station is about 3000 metres from London Recumbents. Its a long way!

British Rail
North Dulwich mainline station is about 1000 metres from London Recumbents.
North Dulwich trains leave from London Bridge station.
West Dulwich mainline station is about 1100 metres from London Recumbents.
West Dulwich trains leave from London Victoria station. |

Access from outside
There is level access into and throughout the park.
There is plenty of room for a person using a wheelchair to move around outside and inside the London Recumbents yard.

Getting around
inside
There is a 200mm step into the office. You get ready to go the bikes outside.

Accessible toilets
The accessible toilet was not working on our visit. The key is kept in the office.
The minimum door width is 875 mm.
There is a ramp to the doorway.
There are two accessible toilets inside the Pavilion Cafe, its about 560 metres away from London Recumbents yard. |

The staff are really friendly and helpful.
Registered assistance dogs are welcome. |
